I have always been an active person. I enjoy running, hiking, biking and have “donated” to several gyms. A good friend of mine asked me to go to Hot Yogas one day and the rest is history. When I first started, I loved the heat, poses, music and the physical benefits. I felt stronger and more toned. It didn’t take long before I realized all the other benefits yoga offers. I couldn’t wait to get “on my mat” to focus on my breath and learn how to release thoughts and stress. As an educator, it was a natural fit for me to take training. Yoga has helped me to live in the present moment and be awake to all of life’s possibilities. My intention is to help others do the same. The yoga community is full of inspiring and caring students and teachers. When I am here, I feel at home whether I’m practicing or teaching.
