Jessica began practicing yoga in 2008 to deepen her practice of presence and meditation. Taking regular yoga classes, she experienced a deep mental and emotional peace, and noticed old physical injuries healing. Yoga also helped her to feel much more vibrant and energized.

She took this practice with her during her Peace Corps service in Guinea and Nicaragua, teaching informal yoga classes to anyone interested. Although she taught math and English in these countries, she felt that her true calling was yoga.

A few years later, Jessica completed her 200 hour teacher training at Inner Vision Yoga. She is now a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance.

Jessica teaches vinyasa-style yoga classes, as well as yin/restorative and beginner classes. She loves to learn and try a variety of yoga postures, and she creates a safe environment for her students to do the same. Jessica teaches with compassion and a sense of playfulness, while encouraging mindfulness and presence.
